KUALA LUMPUR: KTI Landmark Bhd’s Taman Seri Lemawang housing project in Tuaran, Sabah, with Lembaga Pembangunan Perumahan dan Bandar Sabah (LPPB) was among developments to receive Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) awards at QUEST 2024 organised by Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia.

The integrated property developer said the development, which won the awards for Phases 1F and 1G, leveraged the industrial building system (IBS) technique to improve the speed and precision of the construction process, and elevate the overall quality and durability of the development.

This was achieved while achieving cost efficiency through reduction of labour and material wastage in addition to promoting sustainable practices, reducing environmental impact and improved safety, it added.

“This recognition highlights KTI’s continuous efforts to innovate and upgrade construction processes, setting new industry standards in Sabah’s real estate market.

“In addition to Taman Seri Lemawang, KTI is also developing other landmark projects such as The Logg and Ayuria Place,” said Datuk Gordon Loke in a statement.

Taman Seri Lemawang features 811 double-storey house units starting from RM250,000, complemented by modern amenities such as a central park, jogging track, basketball courts, gazebos, and a playground.

This development is part of a larger 168-acre site, which also includes Residensi Seri Akasia with 480 apartment units priced from RM150,000, and Plaza Lemawang’s 60 shoplot units priced from RM608,000.
